It’s the holiday season at Monarc and we’re excited to celebrate! Even with festivities looking a little different this year, there are still plenty of ways to safely enjoy the season. George Balanchine’s "The Nutcracker" in the Park
While this year has been different in so many ways, fortunately this important holiday tradition lives on! Catch Miami City Ballet performing Balanchine’s iconic Nutcracker this year in Miami’s Downtown Doral Park. The performance will combine live dancing with innovative multimedia to bring a reimagined version of the classic holiday experience to Miami. Performances will run from December 18th to 31st and you can find tickets here.

Holiday Market at Fairchild Botanic Garden
This coming weekend, head to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden for their annual holiday market. The market is open from 10am-4pm on December 12th and 13th, with a special shopping hour from 9-10am for those who identify as COVID vulnerable. New World Symphony’s Sounds of the Season
On December 19th, Dezerland Park is hosting New World Symphony’s Sounds of the Season concert. The special holiday event features a Wallcast performance at the park’s drive-in movie theater. Holiday Evening at Deering Estate
For a family-friendly holiday evening, head to Deering Estate on December 16th for a stroll through the decked out grounds of the historic home. Kids can drop off letters to Santa and even visit with Mrs. Claus as she reads bedtime stories (from a safe social distance). The estate will be lit up and decorated for the holidays with a “Vintage Florida” theme this year. Be sure to reserve your tickets in advance here.
Miracle on 68th Street
This year, Carillon Miami Wellness Resort is hosting their first ever safe Santa-tastic Soireé, with shopping, dining, and even holiday-themed workouts planned. Shop and support local Miami vendors and don’t forget to pose for a photo with Santa! The event takes place over the next two weekends and you can find tickets here.
